Activities
A team comprising of Chandan & Manidipa Nath, Arjun Sau, Bachaspati Roy and Chitta Das met Swami Atmajnananandaji at the Washington D.C center on December 30th, 2007. He blessed our efforts and agreed to help us with four lectures in 2008.
For the first lecture, the earliest date he gave us was the 31st of May. However, in the mean time he advised us to start "Satsang", including discussion on Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna and Bhagavad Gita on regular basis and seek blessings from Hollywood Maharaja, Swami Swahanandaji. We were very excited by Swamiji's kind words.
Satsangs were arranged at the Hindu Temple starting January 12th, 2008 on a monthly basis. The first Satsang was co-ordinated by Sushim Mukerji. Subsequently, monks of the RamaKrishna order conducted religious lectures at the Hindu Temple on a near bi-monthly basis. The lectures have been well-attended and lecture notes are available on this website.
The lecture series for 2009 was adopted by the Hindu Temple of Delaware at the initiative of Sri Patibanda Sarma, President, HTA and Sri Chandan Nath, Sri Sudeb Das, Sri Sushim Mukerji and Sri Bachaspati Roy from the original delvedanta.org committee.
