"The
Vedanta Study Group" is a part of the Hindu Temple of Delaware. This group
is dedicated to follow the teachings of Sri Sri
Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Sri Sri
Maa and His Holiness Swami Vivekananda. Frequent
discourses given by monks from the Ramakrishna Mission's "Vedanta
Centers" in the U.S.A are organized in order to spread the Gospel of Sri
Ramakrishna and teach our holy scriptures like the Vedas, Upanisads
and the Bhagawad Gita amongst the members.
The first
"Vedanta" lectures started in 2002, and this organization was
conducting a series of lectures on the Upanishads in 2006-07. Due to the
ill-health of one of the main organizers, the remaining lectures for 2007 were
discontinued. The 2008 / 2009 / 2010 / 2011 lecture series was extra-ordinarily successful,
and the lecture notes for the 2008 / 2009 / 2010 / 2011 sessions are available in the
"Lecture Notes" link above.
The
schedule for 2012 is available under the "Upcoming
Events" link shortly. In case you are interested to participate /
volunteer, please download the "Survey
Sheet" form by right-clicking on the link and then e-mailing to any
one of our members mentioned in the "Contact Us" page.
May the
blessings of the Holy Mother be on you, always ! Shri Ramakrishna smaranam !
